Biskey Howe viewpoint provides a spectacular view of Lake Windemere and Bowness village and it is just 5 minutes’ walk from Elim House.

A five-minute walk from the house, through a small wooded area, takes you to the Biskey Howe viewpoint with a viewing table showing and identifying the mountains that can be seen to the North West of Lake Windermere.

There are benches to sit on and take in the view, north to Windermere and south over Bowness and beyond.

The more energetic can continue on from here to Post Knott and from there to Brantfell, with a spectacular 360-degree view over the southern part of Lake Windermere, Yorkshire, Morecambe Bay, and on a clear day, Blackpool Tower.
